About Us
Susie Click's distinctive credentials include academic degrees and certifications, along with 26 years experience
as an enthusiastic hands-on teacher. She received her BS in Deaf Education from University of Tennessee and her Masters
in Montessori Early Childhood Education from Barry University. Susie also earned her National Board Certification in
Early Childhood Education and is a Certified Sign2Me Instructor.
Susie has taught in public schools for twenty-six years, in a rich variety of environments, and has extensive
experience in teaching deaf, hearing, and gifted children. Her teaching experience includes long-term positions
in regular and Magnet schools, in Fort Lauderdale and Raleigh. Presently she teaches hearing impaired students in Seminole County.
Recent research shows that all infants, deaf or hearing, demonstrate remarkable communication abilities well before their ability to
verbalize emerges. Signing provides a bridge between parent and child which enhances very early childhood brain growth and provides
greater depth and satisfaction in the parent-child relationship. It is also fun!
